These were pretty fun to put together. I have a gift/problem of finding beautiful bits. It's probably part of the bridge "thing" - always looking for and delighting in the objects and experiences that pull me deeper into my own self or the things that take me over to some other shore of new adventure. They are like little new friends and teachers..."Oh, hello there, delicate pale blue candle! Oh, hi. Oh, wow - are you ever so lovely and dear! You even smell good - oh, beeswax! Wow! I am so thankful for whoever made you. Who has a birthday coming up?"
This is literally the weird stuff that goes through my head. In this case, followed by, "Oooo, I bet you would look so pretty in a little succulent tea cup garden, all aglow." I'll spare you the details of my inner thoughts on the other items in these jars - BUT, I will say, they've been picked with love and if this is your variety of self-care and creative kindling I would be so honored to be some small support to you as you find things to make with these small wonders. And TEA! There will always be tea. Because, alongside the doing and making there is plenty of time (really, truly) to make a pot of tea. Sit. Listen. Hold. Sip. Repeat.
Find your sunny spot and enjoy!
Each kit has: A candle, a tiny bundle of favorite scraps - this one has my all-time favorite wrapping paper that I have saved for literally 15 years, oh it is sweet! There are calendar scraps from Rothko and vintage children's book illustrations, a paint chip and a Mexican Loteria card. Odd, I know - but, these are my favorites people. Whimsy from Cavallini & Co. (tags, sticker, magnet), a fantastic pushpin, a spool of thread, and twine, a small ball of felting wool (heaven), tea, Nasturtium Seeds!, the most soft and incredible hand-painted yarn I've ever held, and one unique and inspiring quote!
Oh, and a teeny tiny golden heart I made. You can iron it on to anything you like :)
I am selling them for $30 each. Email me if interested, erinmhanley@gmail.com
